Dale's West Bank School of Music student ensemble "Risk Factor", was the earliest iteration of The Riff Rangers. In 2013, they recorded "Hey Good Lookin" (Hank Williams), "El Farol" (Santana) and "Swinging On A Star" (Jimmy Van Heusen & Johnny Burke).
